New project explores the development of the accordion

The type of instrument that competitors mostly perform on at the 'Coupe Mondiale' world championship has 61 treble keys, 120 stradella system basses and 55 free basses. It comprises around 4000 separate parts. How did we we get here and what were the cultural influences that shaped this development? Well, I hope to find out over the next 8 months!
HN2 Recital Completed
11.5.2022 - The Music Box,Sighthill
I performed my 2nd year recital on the evening of 11th May. It comprised a variety of pieces on clarinet and bass clarinet spanning classical to swing!

Kalamité Quartet raises £1530

The Kalamité Clarinet Quartet completed two very successful concerts in Portobello and Croy in support of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. We are very grateful to everyone who supported us in raising a fantastic £1530.
